I grew up in Savannah, Georgia taking every opportunity to be in front of the camera. As I got older, I decided being behind the camera was just as fun. My very first camera was a pink film camera with a little yellow bird on it, and I thought it was the best thing ever. At the age of 15, I took a very basic photography class taught by a good friend, and so began my true love for the art.
Several years later, as a sophomore in college at Armstrong Atlantic State University, I took my first film photography class. At the time, I was a pre-nursing major, and thought I would just learn a little more about my favorite hobby. Throughout that semester, my love for photography grew and grew, and next thing I knew I was photographing weddings and families I had never met before.
In June 2013, I became a full time photographer. After almost three years of nannying, taking photos on the side, and editing when I got a chance, I was able to give photography, and clients, my full attention. I am very excited to begin this new adventure, and look forward to meeting many new people!
My husband, Jared, and I were married in September 2011 in Savannah, and now we live in a little house on Isle of Hope with our three year old Goldendoodle, Gracie.
